The city of Golden, Colorado has launched a program to feed residents in need and support local restaurants throughout the COVID-19 crisis. BGOLDN, an evolution of The Golden Backpack Program, provides free nutritious pre-packaged meals for people financially impacted by the crisis. Meals are prepared by Golden restaurants that agree to make the meals at a special rate, helping them to keep their doors open and staff employed.
